Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use or buy one of our packages, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We keep it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us.
What we collect and why
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You email us or book a call | Your name, email address, and whatever you tell us in your message | To reply, recommend a package, and send you a payment page |
| You pay through PayPal, Stripe or Wise | The payment provider sends us your name, email address, the amount paid and a transaction reference. If you pay by bank transfer we see the sender name and reference on our statement. We never see your card number or online-banking details. | To confirm payment, set up your access and keep accounting records |
| You use the course | Your login, the lessons you've completed, community posts you write, and messages you send to support or your coach | To run the course, track your progress and give you support |
| You join live workshops or coaching calls | Your name and, if you turn it on, your camera and microphone. Workshops are recorded for members who missed them. | To deliver the sessions and provide recordings |
We don't buy data about you, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
Our legal basis
When you buy a package, we process your data because we need it to deliver what you paid for (performance of a contract). When you email us before buying, we process it because you've asked us to (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We keep payment records because tax law requires it (legal obligation). We only send marketing emails if you've said yes, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business, and only what each one needs:
- PayPal, Stripe and Wise process payments under their own privacy policies. You choose which one to use.
- Our email provider [name it, e.g. Google Workspace] stores our correspondence with you.
- Our course platform [name it, e.g. Teachable, Kajabi, Circle] hosts the lessons and community and stores your login and progress.
- Our video-call provider [name it, e.g. Zoom, Google Meet] runs live sessions.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface on this website, which means Google's servers receive your IP address when a page loads. See our cookie policy.
Some of these providers store data outside the UK and EU. Where they do, they rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We'll share your data with authorities if the law requires us to, and not otherwise.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry emails: up to 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Account and progress data: for as long as your access runs, plus 6 months in case you renew, then deleted.
- Payment records: 6 years, because tax law requires it.
- Workshop recordings: 12 months, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy in a portable format. You can object to us using it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To do any of this, email ; we'll reply within 30 days and won't charge you. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
Security
Payments happen on PayPal's, Stripe's or Wise's secure checkout, not on our site. Our course platform and email are protected by passwords and two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care and we'll tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
Our packages are for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email current members.
